Top Games - 1000 Heads Among The Trees
1000 head between trees is a game where the player visits a small town in rural Peru and learns people through their improvised stories about the images that he / she takes in search of spirits. It is based on the time I spent with a brujo (witch), in the desert outskirts of Cachiche, a city that was founded as a refuge for witches during the Peruvian Inquisition, where the witches descendants still live and continue to practice the healing traditional and Fortune- narrative. The player assumes the role of a visitor who spends his nights to discover the tranquil town to take pictures of possible ghosts and sharing these images with the locals who tell generative stories in photographs, interviews I've done on the site.

The intent of this project was to take the elements of the document and open them to the unknown design process by putting my stories through the generation mixer procedural history. Interviews and experiences are reconfigured and applied to the elements of the pictures taken by the player. It 'came from the interest of playing with the inability of the traditional documentary to tell a really objective history and a desire to make a narrative that I met has become increasingly new and changing.
Using pictures to get the characters of the game stories creates a single conversation mechanism where the player tries to communicate with people through his photography.
Since it is an exploration game open, there are no levels, but it usually takes a couple of hours for the player to find the end. After the end of the end, the player usually can return and continue playing for finding areas, events and conversations they may have missed.
The target audience includes people playing art games, docugames and the kind of horror.
